The Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) District Board met Thursday, May 6, 2021 at a special meeting to approve the contract for the College’s next President, Dr. Sunem Beaton-Garcia.

Beaton-Garcia, who served as the North Campus President and Vice Provost for Academic Services at Broward College, was one of four finalists who participated in open forums in late April. Other finalists included Dr. Kathleen Linaker, Vice President of Academics at Western Technical College in LaCrosse, WI; Dr. Nicholas Ouellette, CEO/Superintendent of Hudson School District in Hudson, WI; and Dr. Kristen Raney, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Saint Paul College in Saint Paul, MN.
